Connect with US – Volunteer!

Looking for a community service adventure next summer?Â A trip that combines making a valuable contribution to the world while seeing the beauty of Kenya? Jenga Africa is looking for volunteers in the schools. We currently have opportunities for corporates and friends of Jenga and witnessing where the work is done. We welcome adults and children alikeâ€”anyone with an adventurous spirit and a big heart!

There are various types of volunteer programs that include physically contributing in the actual building of the schools, teaching, cooking or playing with the kids. This is more involving and engaging and requires a minimum of 5 days in the project vicinity. The other form is through site visits that may require minimum a week travel.

Volunteering your time in Africa is a wonderful way to interact with communities abroad, get your hands dirty and see physical results from your work. There is no need to have a teaching background to volunteer internationally on our projects and again you donâ€™t even need to speak the local language where you are volunteering. Kenya is largely an English speaking country. The program is open to all volunteers whether you are on a gap year, at university or wanting a career break.
