Story Moja is a publishing company started by a collective of writers committed towards publishing contemporary East African Stories . Annually Story Moja organizes Read aloud activity during the Day of African Child in selected schools in Kenya and in the world.
229,043 children from 1,097 schools across 44 counties participated. However, the OFFICIAL GUINNESS world record is noted as currently held by the USA with 223,363 participants in 909 venues.
